150 years of Perlen Papier

400 special invitees, a party for the 390 staff and an open day that attracted more than 8 000 visitors: that’s how Perlen Papier celebrated the 150^th anniversary of its foundation on 8 and 9 September 2023. The Perlen paper factory has written an impressive success story over the decades that is firmly attributable to its innovative credentials, its sustainable approach and the keen commitment of its employees. Perlen Papier today is the only manufacturer of graphic paper products in Switzerland, and continues to successfully hold its own in a challenging European market. The festivities further extended to the publication of ‘Die Papieri’, an intriguing account of the company’s history richly accompanied by countless anecdotes and special moments of the past 150 years.
